The MAbImprove Laboratory of Excellence (LabEx) is proud to launch a call for proposals to hire post-doctoral scientists in the field of antibody research. We are seeking for motivated scientists with a good track record and at least one successful postdoctoral experience(s).

Beyond our maxim “improved antibodies, improved development and improved use”, our scientific program focuses on 4 key questions https://mabimprove.univ-tours.fr/en/research/. We also develop research in technological innovation on one side, and translational clinical research on the other.

This call is open to projects which fit with at least one key question/CDI and can be conducted in a current MAbImprove’s team.

The LabEx now gathers 27 research teams and more than 200 researchers. It is based on the complementarity of both sites, as well as on a national network of academic teams, and several pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies directly interested in the fallouts from the project. Launched in 2011, the MAbImprove LabEx is based on a partnership between the Universities of Tours and Montpellier, associated with INSERM, the CNRS, the INRAE, the Montpellier Cancer Institute, the university hospitals of Tours, Montpellier and Nîmes, and the IMT group.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, biotechnology or computer sciences applied to biology, with at least one conclusive post-doctoral experience. For medical doctors and doctors in pharmacy, a MD/PharmD diploma will not be accepted by itself as equivalent to a PhD award.
  • A good track record of scientific accomplishments through publications, patents, and presentations
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills

We are looking for motivated, talented scientists of any nationality, from public or private sector, who would be interested in moving in a MAbImprove team at Tours or Montpellier, France.
