Research axis :

Identification of the neurobiological and functional bases underlying neuropsychiatric disorders associated with dysfunctions in stress response (post-traumatic stress disorder), affect regulation (depression), and reward processing (addictive disorders, autism spectrum disorder).

Development of innovative research avenues for creative diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic approaches in neuropsychiatry.

 

Expertise / know-how:

ExtraPsy is an integrative research team in psychiatry, combining expertise in clinical evaluation, neuroimaging, biological biomarkers, preclinical models, and omics analyses. It develops and evaluates new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies using translational approaches, including the screening of biopharmaceuticals (nanobodies), advanced neuroimaging tools, and bioinformatics analyses. ExtraPsy also engages directly with patients and trains researchers in cutting-edge technologies, thereby strengthening connections between fundamental research, clinical practice, and industrial applications.
